General: There are over 1,000 different varieties from tropical and subtropical regions. Looks can vary with no universally accepted way of categorizing them. A few common varieties include: Peperomia Obtusifolia, Watermelon Peperomia, Pilea Peperomioides, Peperomia crinkle, Peperomia Prostrata.
Light: Most varieties of Peperomia plants prefer medium to bright indirect light - but can tolerate low indirect light. They are not suited for intense direct sun.
Water: Allow the soil to dry in between watering. Water less frequently in winter and times with less light. Observe the plant - Leaves will typically curl, droop, and be more pliable when they need to be watered. A soil meter may also be used to determine if the soil has dried sufficiently.
Other Notes: Peperomia are super fun with many varieties that are considered non-toxic to both cats and dogs!
